Thinking on The World

Chapter One
The World
The world is changing. So are the minds and hearts of man. People are seeking God but can not find Him. An example of the situation is this: there is a stage. On that is God. But many people see different things. For some they may see money, themselves, sex, and so forth. Very few see God. Most of the people voice their opinion on what they see on the stage. Some who see God do not say anything. That example is the state of the world today. What do we do? The world tries to grab everyone’s soul so that everyone can be damned. Do we try and stop it? The world is lead by the Devil. He is the ruler. Return to God now. Time is ticking.
Chapter Two
How a Person is Destroyed
Do we see how our actions affect other people? Our world tells us we are number one, and nothing else matters. Most people follow that. We know that is from the Devil so we try to avoid it. But the Devil and the world does not completely get us to think that but to slightly to think that. So we through our pride do rash things. We hurt people by our words and actions but don’t realize it. People want God but can’t find them. People look to things such as sex to fill the hole. Pre marital Sex is horrible. People who do it misuse the gift. It ruins people’s lives and leads to other sins such as abortion. That is the big one in today’s world. The Blessed Virgin foretold that at Fatima. An example of how the Devil uses our pride is this: Many people do not want to accept that Jesus was both God and man, because it hurts there pride to acknowledge that God died for them. Do we let the world fool us? Another example is Adolph Hitler. Hitler was very cruel. What caused this man to get so evil? It was the world around him. He did not follow God. So the Devil swallowed him. Do not let it swallow you.
Chapter Three
The Catholic World
The Catholic Church is the true church. It has the true marks of the True church. It’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic. Here it is from the Bible. In the scriptures it tells us it is one in (John 10:16). In (Matthew 28:19-20) it tells us it is holy. In (John 17:21) it tells us it tells us it is catholic or universal. In (Matthew 5:48) it tells us it is apostolic. If you do not believe me look it up. Even though it is the true faith it does not mean Catholics are perfect. They make many mistakes like every one else. They fall into the world like every one else. The biggest things that keep Protestants away from the Church are these beliefs. First, the Catholic belief on Mary. Second, the Eucharist. Third, the Pope. I will explain each one.
The Catholic belief on Mary. This is the biggest issue that keeps Protestants away from the true faith. Mary is the Mother of God. She never sinned. Non-Catholics come back and quote scripture and say ‘’All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.” The answer is: it is called the Immaculate Conception; it is a mystery which no one can fully understand. Then Protestants say again “All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.” The reply is “Call no man father except your Heavenly Father.” They reply what does that mean? Jesus said that, but in other parts of the Bible it says Father Abraham. Protestants do not really understand scripture. To them it contradicts itself. But to us who have been given the gift of the true faith every verse has meaning. Catholics might even say, “Why would an angel say Hail Mary?’’ Then the non-Catholics say “Well Catholics worship Mary.’’ I usually always laugh when ever I hear this question. The reply no, Catholics pray to Mary. Through Her intercession our prayer becomes greater to God. *Note they usually get confused at that. Example is the Rosary. That is a prayer not worshipping her. Even Martin Luther himself believed the same on Mary as Catholics do.
The Catholic belief on the Eucharist. Jesus says, “This is my Body. This is my Blood.’’ Not this represents my Body or Blood. He said it. Does Jesus lie? Is that confusing? Come on He meant what He said. One defense by a Protestant was that when He said “Do this in remembrance of Me’’ that He was saying it represented His Body. But that was a poor defense because Jesus was referring to the Mass and giving the apostles the authority and supernatural powers to perform the Consecration.
The belief of the Pope. Come on Catholics you really believe in that old man with the funny hat in Rome? Yes we do. Many non-Catholics look over this point. St. Peter was the first Pope. Change anything now? The authority and infallibility given to the popes is from the passage when Jesus gives Peter the keys of the kingdom. Does Jesus ever lie? I do not think so. 2,ooo years of Popes. That is a lot isn’t. Some were good some were bad. Not a doctrine changing because of their infallibility. Yes, they could still make mistakes but not in doctrine. That is the difference between personal beliefs such as apparitions and the covering vs Mary’s Immaculate Conception and the Eucharist.
Now Catholics live your faith do not get too lazy. Turn to Mary for help. Now Protestants try to understand what Catholics really believe.
Chapter Four
Seeing the World in God’s Eyes
In whose eyes do we see the world? Do we see the world as the Devil sees it, or as God sees it? The world is totally dead. It is covered in sin. Do we remember that Jesus died for us? Jesus, the Son of God became man to suffer and die for us so that we could have eternal life. He sweat blood in the garden of Gethsemane because of our sin. He asks us just to live for Him. This is what the world gives God. No credit, it kills His creation. Young depressed teens misuse one of His greatest gifts to us which is sex. Gay marriage and divorces ruin His plan for marriage. Abortion and Euthanasia are killing the helpless. Cloning is discrediting God of His power. People are becoming more agnostic and atheistic. No one is follows the true faith. Christians are not really Christians they just call themselves Christians. Most of all no one loves Him. What do we do? Live for God.
Chapter Five
He is There for Us
Christ is with us always. He promised us that. We can forget that. Whenever we go through trials He is right there for us. We all struggle in our lives. We all struggle with the sin of despair. But we know and must remember that Christ will carry us through our struggles. All we need to do is to pray for Him. Everyone must have a prayer life. A person without a prayer life is a person who is not connected with God. For an example rose have a best friend. Your best friend is always around you. But if you always ignore your best friend and rarely talk to him or her rose do not have a good relationship. So if today you are going through hard times go to God. Also ask yourself this question, “Do I have a good relationship with God?’’
Chapter Six
The American World
The United States is a country of prosperity and so called “freedom.” But really the citizens are not free. Why? Well because true freedom is from God the U.S. has no freedom. In every way God is taken out. That is why the U.S. is corrupt. The U.S. does not value life. A nation that does not value or respect life destroys itself. The U.S. is killing its own population. Abortion is number one cause. Despair surrounds the youth. No hope in God. Why is there no hope? If there is no belief in God there is no hope. Families are usually broken. The divorce rate climbs higher. The atheistic view of the world has caused many people in the U.S. to become agnostic. Pride is the nation’s destruction. The nation is so powerful that it forgets God. We look back in history and see whenever a nation left God out it got destroyed. Since the family has been destroyed by the world the youth in the U.S. have no good example. Where do they go to? They have no peace. They have no real friends. Have no godly influence at all. They go to sexual pleasures. They misuse the gift of sex. They look for God, but can’t find Him. Pride has destroyed the nation. First, by pride it destroyed the nation’s value of life. Second, after life was destroyed family life was destroyed. Third, effects and disorders such as STDS, eating disorders, gays, and so forth. But most of all souls are going to Hell. What do we do?
Chapter Seven
God’s Divine Plan
Our time on earth is a gift. God has placed us on earth for a reason. The basic reasons are to know, love, and serve Him, so that we may get to Heaven. God has given each of us a plan in our life. But we have our fallen nature, and by that fallen nature we tend to follow our own dream. Do we follow our own dream? Our dreams are good, but usually our dreams do not see the big picture.
What is the big picture? The big picture is time and eternity. The Devil has gotten many people to lose focus on the big picture. We ourselves out of our pride and neglectfulness put our dreams first. Our lives are a speck in God’s eye. But our lives play a huge role in the whole history of the world. How we act affects the whole world. You cannot mix God’s plan or your dream either. You must realize that God’s plan will bring your plan. Two example of this is Alexander the Great and Pope John Paul II.
Alexander the Great had a dream to be ruler of the world. He accomplished his dream, but shortly died afterwards. Many soldiers died for him so that he could achieve his goal. So his achievement did nothing for anyone in the big picture. He got fame though, but not fame that can get him into Heaven. We do not know what was in his heart. So I cannot judge him.
Pope John Paul II was a great man who followed God’s plan. He went through many struggles and pains. He knew that suffering helped him get closer to God. He is famed not just by catholic but the whole world. Truly, this man must be in Heaven. He saw the big picture.
Do you see the big picture? If you do not; I encourage you to pray to God that you may see the big picture.
Chapter Eight
Take Action Against the World
We know that life is just a passing state. But do we live as though it is? The Devil has taking away the Christian identity from the world. Do not let him take it from you. The family has been destroyed. Lives have been destroyed. True love is not truly loved. People are using each other. What do we do? How can we respond? Three things can change the world. The three thins are prayer, good example, and truly loving others.
Prayer is important and is the easiest one of the three. It is essential. A Christian who does not have a prayer life is not a Christian at all. Prayer is not just lifting your minds and hearts to God, but it is communication to God. It is called Prayer life, because prayer is a life in it self.
The value of good example is so great. Especially in a world where there is no one to look up to. The way you live affects the whole world not just yourself. Each action affects other people.
Love is not understood in our world. Instead of truly loving people love so that they can get what they want. Love is giving and expecting nothing in return. Love will change the world.
One last thing, do not fear, have peace. Christianity has dropped its numbers. The Islamic faith has increased. But the pruning time is at hand. God will answer our cries of help. The Blessed Virgin is praying for us. Be prepared to meet God. Have Hope. Do not give up. Live your life for God.
